The third Zennie62Media NFL Mock Draft opened a bit different from the second one, and that’s because we used the provision to make trades, this time. The result was a first round that had more trades than we may see in the actual NFL Draft, and interesting outcomes.
Like the second mock draft, Joe Burrow wound up going to the New York Giants. The reason was that the team representatives believed Daniel Jones was already a bust, after just his rookie year, and were ready try someone else – Burrow represented that.
I think it flies in the face of reality. Not to mention that Mr. Jones is one of the NFL’s leaders in jersey sales and the general consensus is that the NY Giants should work on protecting Daniel Jones, not finding a replacement for him so early in his career.
