Aquaman Trailer At San Diego Comic Con 2018!
The Aquaman I remember was from the 1973 Filmation “Super Friends” cartoons. That Aquaman had green scales and blonde hair, but he was, well, a cartoon. Over the years, that image of Aquaman was so frequent it was burned into my brain. Then came the latest version of Arthur Curry AKA Aquaman played by Jason Momoa and in a movie directed by James Wan. Look, I’m massively excited to see this movie, and just because of that damn trailer. And one that came from the mind of Aquaman movie director James Wan:
I have to agree with Kevin Smith (who looks great, by the way) and thank Mr. Wan for being so excited about the material, and giving Aquaman his dignity back.
If it’s true that movie trailers can sell tickets and generate box office buzz, then Aquaman’s on pace to be the best movie for DC Entertainment since Wonder Woman. You can see how the public reacted to the Aquaman Trailer by the fact that it was the number one Twitter trend in the World for much of last Saturday. You can see that of all of the trailers, and that includes the haunting installment for Godzilla: The King Of Monsters, Aquaman gained the most views at 22 million and climbing. You can see that in the tweets themselves, like these:

Patrick Wilson just completely sold me on the fact that #Aquaman has nailed Arthur & Orm’s relationship.
He speaks about the question that is: ”What if they had grown up together? Can they unite? How does their bloodbound brotherly bond affect them?”

The more I watch the AQUAMAN trailer, the more I believe it is truly one of the best trailers for a DCEU film since MAN OF STEEL & BATMAN v SUPERMAN. pic.twitter.com/eB7nafUYTr

Conan O'Brien: Anything you want to say sir about the trailer before we see it?
James Wan: No. Here it is. The trailer.
Wan is such a no bs type of guy. LMAO. I'm still not over this. The music makes this trailer so epic & emotional. #Aquaman pic.twitter.com/oeL0G5j2B5
