Are YouTube Trending Videos Pages Gamed By The Oakland Raiders In Las Vegas?

The YouTube Algorithm is, at present, set such that a vlogger like myself is literally stuck in a particular keyword combination. So, I wanted to test what would happen if I vlogged about the YouTube Trending Page.

As it happens, I only drew one viewer. So, in the middle of the vlog livestream, I added the words ” Gamed By The Oakland Raiders In Las Vegas” and that drew five more viewers in just seconds.

That means the YouTube Algorithm is set in such a way as to get viewers in particular subjects and match them with people who make content in those subject areas.

But given that YouTube Trending Videos is a popular subject, why did I get just one viewer?

It seems that YouTube does not favor a person that does not vlog about a certain subject regularly.

That’s not confirmed by YouTube, by the way. More on this matter, and another livestream on it, soon.

Stay tuned.
