ONN – A black female Lyft Driver was kind enough to share her thoughts on how Oakland has changed. I interviewed her about 50 minutes ago to the point of time of this upload.
The black female Lyft Driver gave an explanation of how transplants from San Francisco describe Oakland more as neighborhoods than areas like “East Oakland.” She said they tend not to say hello on the street.
Finally, she said my observation that Oakland was on the define was correct. The Oaklander pointed to the homeless problem and the cost of living as the reasons.
