ONN – Brian Kemp Falls Into Runoff With Stacey Abrams In Georgia Gubernatorial Race. It’s now Kemp 50 percent Abrams 49 percent, and Ted Metz 1 percent, which means the Georgia Gubernatorial Race is going to a runoff.
This is big news, and comes late, and was posted on the website of the news channel “11 Alive” in Atlanta. The information was posted 11/14/2018 at 4:06 PM EST. Meanwhile the website of the Georgia Secretary of State, which had Kemp at 50.23 and Stacey Abrams with 48.82 on Wednesday morning, was never updated the rest of the day.
What’s going on?
Well, Brian Kemp’s share of the vote has been on constant decline since Election Day 2018, when he started at 51.7 percent.
Since that day, Kemp’s lead fell from 51.7 percent to 50.33 percent last Friday, then 50.26 percent Monday, and then that lead fell to 50.24 percent on Wednesday morning. Then, at 2:12 PM EST, Kemp’s percentage dropped yet again to 50.23 percent to 48.83 percent for Abrams, and has not been updated since then. So, overall, Kemp has lost over 1.47 percent of the total votes he claimed by percentage on Election Day 2018.
