Broadway Diner Fayetteville, Georgia Has Chicken Fajita Omelette In New York-Style Restaurant
Fayetteville, Georgia, which is part of the Atlanta Metropolitan Area, has a nice collection of warm, friendly, independent restaurants amid all of the chain establishments. One of them is called The Broadway Diner and its located at 535 Glynn St in Fayetteville, GA!
If you think of New York City when you consider the name of this southern eatery, you’re not wrong for doing so. The Broadway Diner owner Steve Theodorakis reportedly lived in New York (even though he’s from Montreal, Quebec) and so brought some of that NYC food culture with him to Georgia. In other words, the breakfasts remind me of the kind I’d get at a diner in Midtown Manhattan during the NFL Draft, when it was there. In other words, big portions.
I’ve yet to have dinner at the Broadway Diner, and I’ll get to it, but I have to brag about the Chicken Fajita Omelette I had. I can sum it up with one word: YUM. Just plain YUM.
The Chicken Fajita Omelette is “chunks of chicken breast, onions, green peppers, cheddar cheese and jalapeno peppers. Served with sour cream and salsa” – and all for just $8.50. Back home in Oakland, that would run me about $14. Add coffee and juice, and tax I’m looking at $20 before I even pay the tip anywhere around Lake Merritt, where my place is.
I can’t wait to return to the Broadway Diner now that we’re all getting vaccinated against COVID-19. This is one of those places Guy Fieri should have on his Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, show on The Food Network. It’s the kind of place a chef like my friend Michael Mina would love. Check it out. It’s open from 8 AM to 9 PM Monday – Friday, and the weekend.
Stay tuned.
Stay tuned.

Note from Zennie62Media and OaklandNewsNow.com : this video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. What we call “The Third Wave of Media”. The uploaded video is from a YouTube channel. When the video is “liked” by Zennie62 YouTube, then it is automatically uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62-created and owned social media pages. The overall objective here, on top of our is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours – is the use of the existing YouTube social graph on any subject in the World. Now, news is reported with a smartphone and also by promoting current content on YouTube: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary, or having a camera crew to shoot what is already on YouTube. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
