Leigh Steinberg Client, Tampa Bay Buccaneers and former USC Running Back Ronald Jones ran 98-yards for a touchdown against the Carolina Panthers moments ago.
The run was very much like the record-setting 99-yard run by Dallas Cowboys NFL Hall of Fame Running Back Tony Dorsett on Monday Night Football, January 3rd, 1983 against the Minnesota Vikings.
Both runs were out of a single-back formation some call “Ace”, and were simple linebuck running plays, right up the middle. Well, the Cowboys did use a “fold” block, but, details.
