I have it from a very good and well-placed source in California that, California Attorney General
Xavier Becerra is helping to craft a plan with the Trump White House that will ultimately relax civil liberties in that state, and eventually, the United States. That due to the problems already caused by the COVID-19 Pandemic.
According my source, who is 100 percent sure of that this plan is being formed, there are a number of states attorneys general who are part of this plan, including, reportedly, New York Attorney General Letitia James. According to my source, the idea is to give chief judges in each county the ability to skirt due process, and simply lock up anyone said to be a wrong-doer.
My source also reports that the people that person talked to who are in position to know about this and be the ground-based implementers, have said that this plan stemmed from a number of skermishes in various location where people were fighting over such things as toilet paper.
There is, behind this plan, an overall determination not to allow the society to be harmed by rampant looting. Thus, we are in a situation very much like where we as a nation were after the events of 9-11 and the formation of The Patriot Act.
