China reportedly carried out its first-ever test of a “nuclear-capable hypersonic missile”. The missile that was launched in August circled the Earth at low orbit before speeding towards its target, according to Financial Times. The report added that China had made “astounding progress on hypersonic weapons and was far more advanced than US officials realised”
