Coaches Pass Interference Challenge Rule Approved By NFL
ONN – Coaches Pass Interference Challenge Rule Approved By NFL
The coaches pass interference challenge rule idea that surfaced at the NFL Annual Meeting, and was borne of the non-call in the 2019 NFC Championship Game, is now an official rule.
Via NFL 2019 Resolution G4, NFL Coaches now have the two minute challenge rule that was previously in the hands of the replay official.
This means that a coach can throw a challenge flag against a pass play, if that person thinks a pass interference call should have been made.
The new rule was passed at the NFL Spring League Meeting in Key Biscayne, Florida.
Stay tuned.
