Donald Lacy, the famous Oakland actor, comedian, writer, and entertainer who channeled his grief over the tragic March 1998 murder of his 16-year-old daughter, LoEshe into a movement and organization called the “Love Life Foundation,” and a new slogan for our City that’s simply “Love Life,” is hosting what’s called “Oakland’s Finest Black Tie Holiday Ball and Toy Drive.
The event will be held Saturday, December 1st, 8 PM to 2 AM, at Geoffrey’s Inner Circle, 410 14th St, Downtown Oakland, near the intersection of 14th and Broadway.

The LoveLife Foundation in conjunction with the San Francisco Black Firefighters Association has provided Toys & Holiday Joy to low income families in the Bay Area for years. This year our goal is to provide at least 1,000 toys to children & Bay Area families in need and make this holidays season special for all. Your support & donations are greatly appreciated.
This years Toy Drive will also include an award ceremony for some of Oakland’s Finest entertainers, politicians, community leaders. and family members who have made significant contributions to our community & the city of Oakland.
