E-40 Says Racial Bias Reason He Was Escorted Out Of Warriors-Kings Game NBA Playoffs Game 1 in Sacramento.
Rapper and entrepreneur #E40 has released a statement after he was ejected from Saturday night’s NBA playoff game between the Warriors and Kings. The Bay Area native and longtime Warriors fan, says that racial bias is the reason behind his removal, and he is calling for the Kings to investigate the statement
According to the statement, E-40 was subjected to disrespectful heckling during the game. After finally addressing one of the hecklers, the Kings’ security team approached E-40, assuming he was the initiator, and kicked him out of the arena.
“Unfortunately, it was yet another reminder that — despite my success and accolades as a musician and entrepreneur — racial bias remains prevalent. Security saw a disagreement between a Black man and a white woman and immediately assumed that I was at fault,” E-40 explains. The Kings have not responded to E-40’s statement.
