Godzilla King Of The Monsters Leaked IMAX Trailer Shows Breathtaking Film. It basically picks up Godzilla 2014 and vastly improves on it, giving us what appears to be the Godzilla movie we’ve always wanted.
The Vimeo video is said to have been leaked from GKOTM Director Michael Dougherty’s 2019 WonderCon panel presentation. This vlogger saw it referred to by Entertainment Talk Nation on YouTube, and then referred to the link to it. It’s also on Reddit. (And I’ve got to have ETN on Zennie62 on YouTube!)
Regardless of where the link is, once found, it’s the gateway to the best giant monster movie ever made. I know I say that from a five minute clip, but one look at it and I dare you to disagree with me. Godzilla movie fans are going nuts over this, and rightly so.
For all practical purposes, the movie is more like a simulation documentary than a giant monster movie. And the scene where the Monarch Soldiers meet King Ghidorah for the first time is completely breathtaking. And the score by Bear McCreary just wraps that moment in time as a motion picture classic. The three-headed-monster emerging from the ice as the music announces his evil arrival, and the soldiers run from him, will be burned in your brain for the rest of your life.
UPDATE: It was announced that the 5 – minute Godzilla King Of The Monsters trailer will be shown before screenings of Shazam! So, if you live in Oakland, that means going over to the Grand Lake Theater on 3200 Lake Side Drive, as that’s where Shazam! is playing.

Members of the crypto-zoological agency Monarch face off against a battery of god-sized monsters, including the mighty Godzilla, who collides with Mothra, Rodan, and his ultimate nemesis, the three-headed King Ghidorah. When these ancient super-species thought to be mere myths-rise again, they all vie for supremacy, leaving humanity’s very existence hanging in the balance.
