I have a number of people who express concern for my well-being in the wake of the horrible racist actions of Gregory McMichael and Travis McMichael in the murder of Ahmaud Arbery. I wasn’t going to weigh in but I have decided to.
It doesn’t reflect the State of Georgia or its people. This is a very complex society that has an extra layer I call “Old South vs. New South” and add to that “tech and non-tech”. But there are a lot of very good people here and at its best, this is an incredible place to be in.
Don’t let the actions of a couple of evil people reflect the State. You would really misunderstand it.
