Oakland News Now – D3 Howard Terminal Townhall, July 11th – video made by the YouTube channel in the video’s upper left hand corner.

The reason the video has only 16 views is the Oakland District Three Councilmember Fife’s Office used the wrong settings and for the wrong reasons. (By the way, I live in District Three.) – click on the link above or here, for the YouTube video.

Some news from the event: Councilmember File opened with these remarks and said she was not part of the Howard Terminal Ballpark Negotiations (from the transcript):

and it’s also um i also i also want to give an opportunity for the folks who’ve been in direct conversation about uh in the direct negotiations which i have not been i’ve had one conversation with one conversation but they’ve primarily been negotiate negotiating and that’s the closest you’re gonna hear to my opinion um with city staff so they’ve been in conversation with the mayor and the city staff who’ve been drafting the city’s um term sheet so i just wanted to say that for the record i did have uh veronica cummings one of the one of the departments that is well she’s part of one of the departments that’s been negotiating she’s going to come here and answer any detailed questions because once again i haven’t been a part of the negotiations um but first i just want to hear from y’all so can i get a show of hands did i say thank y’all for coming thank you all for showing up so early on a saturday morning number one this is i honestly didn’t think folks would be like so it’s too early i know i haven’t eaten yet and i would have had food if we weren’t still dealing with this whole virus thing that’s clearly still impacting people

Also, as Seneca Scott, who ran against Fife for the District Three Seat pointed out, the Oakland labor unions are not all aligned against Howard Terminal.

Stay tuned.

Note from Zennie62Media and OaklandNewsNow.com : this video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. What we call “The Third Wave of Media”. The uploaded video is from a YouTube channel. When the video is “liked” by Zennie62 YouTube, then it is automatically uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62-created and owned social media pages. The overall objective here, on top of our is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours – is the use of the existing YouTube social graph on any subject in the World. Now, news is reported with a smartphone and also by promoting current content on YouTube: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary, or having a camera crew to shoot what is already on YouTube. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
