ONN – ILWU Harassment Of Media At Oakland A’s Ballpark Rally Was Wrong
Zennie62Media Vlogger Richard Haick was our man on the scene at Jack London Square, capturing the sights, sounds, and views expressed at the Oakland Athletics Rally in support of the baseball organization’s effort to build a new ballpark at Howard Terminal.
Although the Oakland Athletics Rally livestream shows no specific interest in filming any union worker (and Zennie62Media had none) for some weird reason a person others identified as being with the San Francisco chapter of the International Longshore and Warehouse Union or ILWU, started following and filming Richard.
Haick did his best to avoid the man (and told the man’s viewers to watch Zennie62 and that they were in a public place, outdoors) but as you can see in the livestream, he kept following him, then he put his hands on him – that’s harassment and assault. Richard informed the Oakland Police at Port of Oakland Headquarters, and at that point, the man left him alone.
I put in a call to International Longshore and Warehouse Union President William Adams in San Francisco reporting this problem. I also said we at Zennie62Media had nothing against the International Longshore and Warehouse Union at all, so the behavior by that man was disturbing.
Adams has not returned my call to this date.
Stay tuned.
