ONN – Is Charlie Michelson Still Running For Oakland City Council District 4 After Quitting?
I was sent this “Charlie Michelson Door Hanger” today and the person who sent it was obviously and understandably upset about it.
See, Mr. Michelson, is still a candidate for the Oakland City Council District 4 Seat currently held by Annie Campbell Washington, even though he issued a letter to supporters that he was quitting the race two weeks ago.
If Charlie does win, it would push the need for a special election to fill the seat. Theoretically it would also push out the other candidates who remained in the election.
I texted Charlie to ask what was going on. I have yet to receive an answer.
