Jacksonville Jaguars Head Coach Urban Meyer is in big trouble. According to social media, specifically, Twitter, is Coach Meyer was “on his sixth G Breezy margarita at his Pint House in Dublin absolutely despondent and muttering to himself about missing Rutgers on the schedule. We miss you, coach!”
This happened Friday night, October 1st, 2021, and just three days after his team lost to the Cincinnati Bengals on Thursday Night Football, and after his Jaguars team gave the Bengals all they could handle before eventually losing 24-21, and falling to zero-wins and 4 losses.
While Coach Meyer’s Wife was baby sitting, and saying “Buddy deserved a night out”…

After reading his wife’s entries on Twitter, I don’t think she cares about that, but does care that his judgement was off. He’s in his bar but someone decided to make a video of him as he was having fun. So, who was harmed?
The Jacksonville Jaguars.
It’s one more distraction in the middle of a losing season. It shows that Urban is more interested in having a good time than taking extra time to get his team’s problems ironed out. It’s a bad look, and the main question is what will Jags Owner Shad Khan do about it?

My hope is that Meyer issues an apology, and that’s that. Firing him would be way to disruptive. Best action is for Urban Meyer to have that mea culpa moment, and that’s that.
