ONN – Josh Jacobs Tells Dana White He Wants Tom Brady For Las Vegas Raiders Forgets Derek Carr

Josh Jacobs, the Oakland Raiders / Las Vegas Raiders running back, found himself at the receiving end of a pointed question from UFC President Dana White. White, ever the advocate for New England Patriots Quarterback Tom Brady coming to play for the Raiders, said “What about if we can get Tom Brady to the Raiders?”

Jacobs pulled back from the camera, making a face, and then said “You know I can’t speak on that,” but then proceeded to do so. “That’s going to be interesting,” the former Alabama running back said, “I don’t see Tom Brady leaving the Patriots. But, I don’t know. Let’s see how it play out.”

Then White said “I’m a Patriots Guy. If the Patriots don’t take em, he’s got to come to Vegas and play for the Raiders.” It’s here where Jacobs could have said that Derek Carr was his guy, but he didn’t say that. Instead, he said “If he wants to leave, I feel like it should be that. But, we’ll see how it’s going to go. We’re going to try and make a big splash in Vegas, so we’ll see how it’s going to play out.”

Ouch.

That set off a social media firestorm that resulted in Josh Jacobs name hitting the top Twitter trends level. Jacobs didn’t put out anything to quell Raider Nation, either. The damage, at least in public, was done.

One wonders what Derek Carr has to do to gain respect? I have my answers, but not here.

Stay tuned.

Note from Zennie62Media and Oakland News Now: this video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. What we call “The Third Wave of Media”. The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62-created and owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
