Oakland News Now – Kelsey Martinez is Oakland Raiders First Female Assistant Coach. Ms. Martinez title is assistant coach in strength and conditioning for the NFL Raiders. And she’s now an Instagram star.
Ms. Martinez is a graduate of Colorado State, where she shares firsts with Becky Hammon, the NBA’s first female assistant coach, who is also a Colorado State graduate. Kelsey hails from Pueblo, Colorado and is 26 years old.
The first woman to ever hold a coaching position was Dr. Jen Welter; the Buffalo Bills and the San Francisco 49ers both have female assistant coaches.
