Laurel Street Fair Today: Mayor of Oakland, And Some Oakland Elections Candidates, Are There

The Laurel Street Fair, which takes up all of Mac Arthur Blvd from 35th Avenue to just before High Street, is going on right now.

It’s a lot of fun, this community event, and a great place to connect with the heart of Oakland – especially if you’re running for office, or seeking re-election.

But the Mayor of Oakland is not the only Oakland political type to attend the Laurel Street Fair. There are several candidates in Oakland races who have booths there. Libby’s challenger Saied Karamooz, for example, has a booth….

Sheng Thao, who’s running for Oakland City Council District Four, has a booth…

Sheng’s challenger, Charlie Michelson, has a booth…

And a number of local Oakland businesses set up shop at the Laurel Street Fair, like Oakland Judo…

And Hiven…
