Leigh Steinberg is a sports agent, philanthropist, and author. He has represented over 300 professional athletes in many sports. He has represented the No. 1 overall pick in the NFL draft a record of eight times.
Leigh has negotiated over $3 billion in contracts for players including Troy Aikman, and Steve Young.
He was recently an honoree at the “Experience, Strength and Hope Awards,” for his new book titled, “The Agent: My 40-Year Career Making Deals and Changing the Game.”
His story inspired a movie that starred Tom Cruise who played Jerry Maguire. He has a story that really shows the power of alcohol dependency as he lost everything but that story doesn’t end there.
