ONN – Leon Brown, Van Lee Help Mr. Norman, Oakland Homeless Man.
An Oakland Homeless Man named “Mr. Norman” received an amazing makeover from Leon Brown and Van Lee, a preacher and a barber in East Oakland.
The friends were looking for a homeless person to help and found 72-year-old Norman Walton, whom they call “Mr. Norman”. They have Mr. Norman $500, a bike, and a full makeover.
Norman Walton is one of an estimated 6,000 homeless Oaklanders. The City of Oakland must take an emergency position in not just helping the homeless, but dramatically lowering the cost of housing.
