The Ballpark Designer Has A New And Exciting Take For The Las Vegas Festival Grounds
Live With Baseball Stadium Architect Ben Garcia On STADIUM 51 And Las Vegas Ballpark Concepts
ZENNIE62MEDIA, INC. presents a livestream talk with Ben Garcia. Mr. Garcia is the stadium designer who created the STADIUM 51 design concept for a ballpark for Las Vegas and the Oakland Athletics (as the organization, along with Major League Baseball, is contemplating a move to Sin City). In our time with Ben, Mr. Garcia talked about that viral take on sports venues for baseball, and unveil another new design he’s working on. He calls it the U.S.S. Las Vegas.
This new creation is even more exciting than The Tropicana / STADIUM 51 design concept, and was made for the Las Vegas Festival Grounds, although Ben says it can be used in other cities, too.
About Ben Garcia. Based in L.A., Ben Garcia is the 2019 graduate of Woodbury University with a B.A. in Architecture. He is a big baseball fan, and his conversations on his designs are peppered with views that show he has a gift for forming a building around the unique patterns of play, rules, and conventions of the sport. He’s able to take that basic approach, and fuse it with a take that mixes pop-culture with technical practicality.
Ben’s website is at Ben-Garcia.com
The livestream started here at 7 PM PST Friday night December which is 10 PM in the Eastern United States. It’s my pleasure to welcome Ben Garcia.
Stay tuned.
