Oakland News Now – “Living In Oakland” YouTube Channel Guy Rich Fleming Doesn’t Really Live In Oakland At All – vlog by Zennie62 YouTube. OaklandNewsNow.com is the original blog post for this content.

I occasionally see a video called Living In Oakland when I check YouTube for informative and interesting videos and vlogs. So, I finally took a look at the Living In Oakland YouTube Channel. Why? Well, I do live in Oakland, so I wondered what the deal was.

Turns out the “Living In Oakland” guy is a brother (meaning black man like me) who’s a real estate broker. So, I figured he was in Oakland, and had all Oakland video-blogs. Nope. He’s got videos on living in a number of SF Bay Area cities. But what made me not happy was a video he made called “10 Reasons Not To Live In Oakland”.

Ok, it’s on!

So, I checked and as it turns out the man’s name is Rich Fleming. He’s a real estate broker dealer who works out of San Ramon, which means its a good chance he lives there or nearby in Walnut Creek, but not Oakland.

DUDE!

Rich Fleming, there are a lot of good reasons to live in Oakland. Grand Lake Theater. Jack London Square. The Alley Cat Bar and Restaurant. The Oakland Museum. Luka’s Restaurant. Lake Merritt. Connie’s Cantina. The Oakland A’s. Cafe Van Kleef. The Oakland Rotunda. Farley’s East Cafe. Brown Sugar Kitchen. The Fox Theater. Everett & Jones BBQ. Children’s Fairyland. The Oakland Zoo. The Chabot Space and Science Center. Fenton’s Ice Cremery. Zachary’s Pizza. Miss Saigon Restaurant. Yang Chow Chinese Food.

And wait. I’ve just listed, let’s see, 21 places. 21 reasons to live in Oakland. That’s double Rich Fleming’s 10 not to, so I win.

Oakland’s a great city. Sure, we have government leadership problems (and I hate to say that about friends, but we’re not looking good right now), but that does not take away from what makes Oakland great: people and places.

Stay tuned.

Note from Zennie62Media’s Zennie62 YouTube and Oakland News Now Today Blog SF Bay Area: this video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. What we call “The Third Wave of Media”. The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62-created and owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
