The NFL Annual Meeting for 2019 got underway Sunday (Zennie62Media is here), but today, Monday, is the first real, full day of the event. What you’re seeing in the livestream, the first of what will be a number of them today, is a “parade” of NFL owners, coaches, and executives who are headed to the morning meeting.
There are a number of items on the NFL’s Agenda, some made public, others not. The standard function of this NFL Annual Meeting is to discuss, review, and approve changes to the playing rules that govern football at the league level. The other reason for the NFL Annual Meeting is to essentially go over business concerns.
What concerns? There’s the often-mentioned Robert Craft Prostitution Case, as well as updates on the new stadiums being built in Las Vegas and Los Angeles, as well as other presentations that in total round out the first business meeting of the 2019 NFL Fiscal Year.
