Oakland News Now – Oakland A’s Best Houston Astros 4 to 3, KC Chiefs Mahomes Drops Bomb On Falcons NFL Preseason.
The Zennie62 Livestream talk was late night and lively.
The Oakland A’s came back to defeat the Houston Astros 4 to 3 in the 10th inning on a walkoff home run by Matt Olson. The victory put the A’s one game back of the Major League Baseball-best Houston Astros, with the game that could put Oakland into a tie to be played this Saturday at 4 PM EST. (Ironically, the same time as the Oakland Raiders vs. Los Angeles Rams NFL Preseason Game.)
Meanwhile, the Kansas City Chiefs Patrick Mahomes proved that he was the bomber quarterback advertised when he launched a 69-yard bomb to wide receiver Tyreek Hill. Interestingly, the Chiefs lined up Hill in the inside-slot of a three-wide-receiver set, and then instructed him to run a kind of up / post pattern. The slot position made Hill the only receiver the Chiefs did not press, and he took advantage of the cushion given to outrun the defenders and score.
Stay tuned.
