Oakland Raiders Coliseum Lease Extension Update: Coliseum JPA Exec Dir Scott McKibben told me “Terms sheets have been exchanged and lawyers are doing final reviews. We should know late Monday if we have a fully agreed upon deal.”
A “term sheet” is just a set of bullet points that outline a deal. The lawyers exchange term sheets in an effort to produce one final agreement. The end result would be good for the Coliseum in that it would be the largest single amount of money to the Coliseum JPA in its history.
That reflects decades of mismanagement prior to the arrival of McKibben in 2014.
