I just met “Lil P” (Phyllis Charles) of Oaktown 357 thanks to Jim Copes, at his “Old School Copes” booth near Lake Merritt in Oakland.
Lil P is an Oakland Hip Hop Legend who paired with MC Hammer to make some of America’s best and trend setting sounds. “Terrible T” and “Sweet LD” paired with Lil P to make history. Known for hits like “Juicy Gotcha Krazy”, they produced culturally path breaking music from 1989 to 1991.
Lil P has an announced that Oaktown 357 will be part of Tom Joyner’s Fantastic Voyage Cruise! It’s her first time and wants MC Hammer and everyone to know the news!
