Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms said that she declined an offer to be on the cabinet for President-Elect Joe Biden. So, with that, I wondered if Oakland Mayor Libby Schaaf had received a similar offer.
Reached by text, the Mayor of Oakland said she had not “and I did not apply for one, either”, she said.
Mayor Schaaf is intent on serving out her second and final term as the City of Oakland’s CEO.
