The Oakland Police issued a fun Happy New Year 2019 video, but Oakland Police Chief Anne Kirkpatrick’s nowhere to be seen in it.
The Oakland Police Department’s not known for a having light-hearted side. But it’s quite apparent OPD intends to do something about that as we head into the new year of 2019. The Oakland Police “Happy New Year 2019” video’s a great start. Have a look:

So far, the OPD video on Twitter has gained 2,386 views. It stars everyone from high level officers like OPD Deputy Chief Leronne Armstrong, to a police dog, to dispatchers to Oakland Police Public Information Officer Joanna Watson.

But where is Anne Kirkpatrick’s face in the video? Shouldn’t the police chief should lead an effort like this, not hide behind it?
