ONN – Oakland Raiders Lease Finished, NFL Will Return To Oakland For 2019-2020.
Zennie62Media was just informed that the Oakland Raiders have agreed to return to the Oakland Coliseum, according to Coliseum JPA Exec Director Scott McKibben.
The Public meeting to sign the deal will be this Friday March 15th at Oracle Arena.
The lease extension consists of two levels of rent: $7.5 million and $10.5 million in 2019 and 2020 respectively. The teams game day expenses will continue to be paid by the Coliseum JPA. But the deal returns a gain of $2 million to the Coliseum Authority. That is the most money from a single transaction, not annualized, in the history of the Oakland Coliseum.
Stay tuned.
