The Oakland Temescal Business District Association is announcing its baffo block party, called the 40th Street Block Party , and to be held July 14th.
If you’re wondering why the vlog about the Mac Arthur Commons housing at Oakland Mac Arthur BART Station is up above, well, it’s because the complex is at 40th and Martin Luther King, right where the party’s going to be. So, you can take BART from San Francisco and get off at Mac Arthur BART Station, and you’re there!
The time of the event is Saturday, July 14th, 11 AM to 5 PM. And it’s on 40th between Webster and Opal.

Get ready to rock out to great live music curated by Broken Guitars Oakland, local food and beer, and unique artisan vendors. This year, we’ve expanded the event to TWO blocks with TWO awesome music stages!!
