Oakland News Now has a post on Maria Ayerdi Kaplan and part of our extensive series on the developer of Salesforce Transit Center, which explains the sale of something called “Block 5.”
Block 5 is a parcel that was owned by the Transbay Joint Powers Authority and to Park Tower LLC for $172 million.
The land deal was one of many that netted the TJPA $450 million to the point of that time, and money that went to the construction of the Transit Center.
