Oscars 2022 Polo Lounge Is Back As A Go-To Venue For Oscar Parties After An Ugly Period
After five years where it was largely ostracized by Hollywood, the famed Polo Lounge is back as a go-to place for Oscar Parties and gathering during Oscars Weekend.
Since The Beverly Hills Hotel where The Polo Lounge is located is part of the Dorchester Collection of Hotels, which is owned by the Sultan of Brunai, and he’s said to be anti-Gay, business shied away from the storied restaurant. That really hurt the wait staff, cooks, bartenders, and hosts at the establishment.
As one who remained a fan of The Polo Lounge, and vlogged to encourage people to visit the historic place, I am glad Hollywood is smiling on it. The Channel Oscars Party of Saturday night was held there. Tonight, people have tables to watch the Oscars.
