ONN – Pandemic Fears Stoke Run On Groceries At Kroger’s Fayetteville Georgia Stores

Fayetteville Ga – Ever wonder what a run on groceries at a store looks like? Well, you’ve come to the right place: the Kroger’s Fayetteville Georgia Store at 805 Glynn St S Ste 117 in Fayetteville Town Center.

UPDATE: Report Of Five Presumed Coronavisrus COVID-19 Cases At Fayetteville / Fayette County GA Piedmont Hospital. Story broke by Zennie62Media’s, Oakland News Now.

On Friday, this vlogger went to the same store to shop, but it was so crowded that it was, from a time perspective, impractical. I noted the first grocery run after that brief visit.

So, I expected that the shelves would be restocked and I would stand a better chance of finding what we needed the next day. That was today, Friday. What I found was a store that, overall, appeared to be about 60 percent depleted of groceries. All of the bacon section was gone save for one set of Hormel bacon offerings. And whole shelves of water and water cases were gone. The same was true for soups, other meats, and even bread.

It was a wild scene, made all the more by the fact I ran into friends who were wearing breath masks in the store. When they saw me as I asked if they would be in my vlog, they said “NO!” and ran away in mock fear. I can only hope this is temporary.

It has to be. The Kroger’s store will stock up over the weekend, and eventually a cure will be found for the horrifying COVID-19 – hopefully sooner rather than later. The store workers said the whole thing was “bizarre”. “We’re going to be here,” said one clerk. “They act like the virus is going to get into the good!” Let’s hope not.

Meanwhile, we have a lot of food at home.

Stay tuned.

Note from Zennie62Media and Oakland News Now: this video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. What we call “The Third Wave of Media”. The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62-created and owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
