Post CES Las Vegas 2019 Thoughts While On United Airlines
ONN – Post CES Las Vegas 2019 thoughts as we leave Las Vegas:
1) The news is in what is in the product and not so much what it shows. So TVs and smartphones, the hallmark of advance in technology at CES, have taken a back seat to the less sexy, yet abundant, applications in everything from drawers to pepper spray (not kidding).
2) Las Vegas better Stop gouging CES visitors or it will lose the show. The vast number of ways Sin City tries to take your money out eat any attempt at good hospitality.
3) Las Vegas as a whole is not jazzed about the Oakland Raiders coming. Many tell me they fear the “element” they bring. Only about 25 percent of the Las Vegas workers I talked to were or claimed to be excited about the NFL team. That’s not good.
