With winter weather, often comes power outages. Here’s the most up-to-date information on power outages in your area.Dominion Power
As of 12:55 a.m. Monday, over 230,000 households served by Dominion are without power as a result of heavy snow throughout the Central Virginia region. The highest concentrations of outages are in the rural counties West of Richmond, including Louisa, Goochland, and Cumberland counties.

Petersburg – 66

Northern Neck Electric Cooperative
Northern Neck Electric Coooperative (NNEC) said that as of 12:55, around 6,393 households are currently without power in their service area, with the majority occurring in Stafford and King George counties, where the vast majority of residents are now without power.

King George – 2,700 (92% of customers)
Stafford – 943 (100%)
Westmoreland – 2,300 (37.4%)
Richmond County – 416 (18%)
NNEC said that there are at least 30 separate outage events being caused by trees and limbs due to the winter weather. The company has crews working the outages, and will continue until power is restored to all areas.

The Northern Neck Electric Coooperative said that outages will most likely continue to occur throughout the day, and that full restoration of power could be tomorrow for some people. If you’re an NNEC customer and you’ve lost power, you can report the outage by calling (866) 663-2688.

Southside Electric Cooperative
Southside Electric Cooperative, which serves counties between Petersburg and the border with North Carolina, reports 17,211 of the households they serve are without power as of 1:01 p.m. The largest outages are concentrated along the northern edge of their service area.

Bedford – 5,200 (56.1%)
Campbell – 1,500 (31.1%)
Cumberland – 1,400 (100%)
Amelia – 1,400 (29.5%)
Prince Edward – 1,100 (29.1%)

Rappahannock Electric Cooperatic (REC), which serves the Fredericksburg area and other counties North of Richmond, reports that as of 1:18 p.m. over 80,000 of their customers are without power.

Louisa – 12,334 (97.2%)
