ONN – President Trump Shown Being Disrespectful To Black Female Reporters
Yamiche Alcindor, Abby Phillip, and April Ryan are three top White House television news reporters for The PBS NewsHour, CNN, and American Urban Radio Networks, respectively. They’re all, also black women.
For reasons best known to himself at this point, President Donald Trump elected to fire off an insult all three of them on Friday.
As the video shows, Trump called Yamiche Alcindor racist for asking a question about a statement he made that could be taken as racist, Abby Phillip was “stupid” for asking a question about his possible actions that could impact the Special Counsel Robert Muller, and then wound up and called April Ryan a “loser” for also asking about the Special Counsel.
What got me wasn’t just that Trump used the Office of the President of The United States to do that, but that he did it with gusto. He lit into them.
The other thing that got me was that no one, not a man, stepped up to defend the women who were being verbally attacked. They just let Trump chortle on.
More than sad.
