ONN – SF Bay Area Bicycle Is Back With “Bike Oakland And San Leandro: Lake Chabot Dirt”
2020-06-17: 14 mile, 950 ft elevation. Day 93 of the SF Bay area coronovirus shutdown and I’m trying to ride something close to the reverse of my day 59 ride. 55th Ave to Bancroft Ave and into San Leandro, taking that cute short-cut bridge at Haas Ave across the San Leandro Creek into the Estudillo Estates-Glen neighborhood, up to Estudillo across the San Leandro Creek back into Oakland and Chabot Park. I end up missing the trail I’m looking for when the path is still paved and instead end up taking Bass Cove Trail instead until it meets up with Goldenrod Trail. Follow that on up to Grass Valley Rd & Golf Links Rd to 82nd Ave, MacArthur Blvd, Foothill Blvd, and Walnut St.
