ONN – SF Bay Area Bicycle Is Back With: “Bike Oakland & San Leandro To Lake Chabot”

2020-05-23: 18 mile, 770 ft gain, Saturday morning ride on the 68th day of the SF Bay Area’s coronavirus shelter-in-place order to the Chabot Park and riding some trails–except Chabot Park is closed so I ride Lake Chabot Rd to the Lake Chabot Marina entrance and back instead. Starting in Oakland on 55th Ave, Bancroft Ave into San Leandro and Estudillo Ave up to the locked up park gates and around that set of houses then Lake Chabot Rd over to the Lake Chabot Regional Park entrance where there are way too many people, and back to Estudillo Ave through Estudillo Estates – Glen and Bancroft around to discover that there IS a bridge I could take through there between Haas Ave & Cary Dr, then off at Dutton Ave to parallel Bancroft on Kenilworth Ave to Durant Ave and into Oakland on Myers St to MacArthur Blvd, dipping off to Hillsite St at 94th Ave, and Dowling St at 88th Ave, and Hillside St at 82nd Ave and 73rd Ave and Foothill Blvd to Brookdale Ave.
