Oakland News Now – Snoochia Mosley Maryland Shooter Part Of Sad Trend Of Women Mass Killers
Snoochia Mosley is the Maryland Shooter who took her own life after shooting three others at a Rite Aid Distribution Center.
The center is about 35 miles northeast of Baltimore. Police say a 26-year-old woman armed with a handgun opened fire on coworkers. Three were killed and three others wounded. The woman, Snoochia Mosley, then shot herself and later died. First responders arrived on scene just after 9 a.m., about five minutes after the shooting began.
The question is, once again, why? And why did yet another woman do this? The last time, it was at YouTube this year. While of about 156 mass shootings, 150 were done by men, 6 were by women, but two this year alone. Why?
Is it social isolation? What is the digital media culture doing to us? The number of social gathering places to do things like watch movies or buy movies has declined. Shopping can be done entirely online. But what is that doing to us? Social isolation impacts everyone regardless of sex. And today, women are not conditioned to believe that using a gun is not lady like. The same range of possible responses to social isolation applies to women as to men, today.
Stay tuned.
