Super Bowl LV: Oakland African American Investment Group NFL Stadium Concept The Weeknd Would Love
Super Bowl LV, pitting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers featuring Tom Brady, and the Defending-Super Bowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs, and Patrick Mahomes, is this Sunday, February 7th 2021. For fans of the former Oakland Raiders, now Las Vegas Raiders, the hated Chiefs success is a bitter pill. For those who’s thoughts go back to the Oakland Raiders’ success against Chiefs Kingdom, and think Oakland will never see NFL Football again, there is hope.
The Oakland African-American Sports and Entertainment Investment Group led by Ray Bobbitt, Robert Bobb, Bill Duffy, Shonda Scott, and Alan Dones, asked me to share their Oakland Coliseum City NFL Stadium Concept Video with you. It’s kind of an online Super Bowl Commercial.
The group’s objective is to bring the NFL back to Oakland by way of an African American ownership group forming a community ownership approach. To that end, on February 3rd 2021, the Oakland African-American Sports and Entertainment Investment Group held a community listening virtual meeting that drew over 130 attendees, and went beyond expectations.
There are many next steps toward the end zone, and a stadium The Weeknd would love to perform in.
As the only person to form a bid to attempt to bring the Super Bowl Game to Oakland (in 2000 for the 2005 Super Bowl that Jacksonville beat Oakland and Miami to host), and who’s Zennie62Media brand is going on its 16th year covering the NFL and the NFL Draft, NFL Owners Meetings, and Super Bowl Week, I am honored that the Oakland African-American Sports and Entertainment Investment Group allowed me to present this grand concept video to you. Their community-oriented vision for Oakland Coliseum City, and an NFL Stadium for an expansion franchise.

Oakland African-American Sports and Entertainment Investment Group First Presented Itself Last Year
Those who have followed this project recall the first livestream event held last year. For those just catching up, here’s the livestream from that event:

This video, below, presents the original Oakland Coliseum City Concept. The vlog was made during a meeting of the Oakland Sports and Entertainment Task Force, chaired by Chris DeBenedetti, in 2009.

Note from Zennie62Media’s Zennie62 YouTube and Oakland News Now Today Blog SF Bay Area: this video-blog post demonstrates the full and live operation of the latest updated version of an experimental Zennie62Media , Inc. mobile media video-blogging system network that was launched June 2018. This is a major part of Zennie62Media , Inc.’s new and innovative approach to the production of news media. What we call “The Third Wave of Media”. The uploaded video is from a vlogger with the Zennie62 on YouTube Partner Channel, then uploaded to and formatted automatically at the Oakland News Now site and Zennie62-created and owned social media pages. The overall objective is smartphone-enabled, real-time, on the scene reporting of news, interviews, observations, and happenings anywhere in the World and within seconds and not hours. Now, news is reported with a smartphone: no heavy and expensive cameras or even a laptop are necessary. The secondary objective is faster, and very inexpensive media content news production and distribution. We have found there is a disconnect between post length and time to product and revenue generated. With this, the problem is far less, though by no means solved. Zennie62Media is constantly working to improve the system network coding and seeks interested content and media technology partners.
