Tom Steyer, who took his hedge fund fortune and used it to advance the cause of impeaching President Donald Trump and addressing climate change, then engineering a late run for Trump’s job, dropped out of the race after pulling up short in South Carolina.
Tom Steyer finished with less than the required number of votes to gain enough delegates to advance and grow heading into the Democratic National Convention. But, in the end, Steyer emerged a changed person.
