As US Senator and Oakland native Kamala Harris was announced Joe Biden’s running mate in the US presidential elections, locals expressed their opinion about the decision, Oakland, Tuesday.
One of them, Daniel, deemed Harris a perfect fit and said, “she is incredibly smart, articulate, progressive.”
Another local, Martin, agreed, adding, “I think she’s a good running mate for Joe Biden.”
Earlier US President Donald Trump also commented on the decision,”I thought she was the meanest, the most horrible, most disrespectful of anybody in the US Senate.”
