Today’s segment of USWAG, Pinas! Special Edition highlights the ongoing vaccination program in San Francisco, Agusan del Sur as the local government strives to achieve population protection against the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19).
San Francisco has strengthened its efforts to address the recorded cases of the virus’ Delta variant in the municipality and counter misinformation about COVID-19 vaccines.
Derived from the Bisayan term ‘uswag’ which means progress, this special edition of the social media program aims to inform viewers about the ongoing mass immunization in different communities across the nation, the tireless efforts of health care workers and medical frontliners in battling the public health crisis, and interviews from inoculated Filipinos and medical experts on the benefits of getting the jab to further boost vaccine confidence amongst the people.
USWAG, Pinas! Special Edition is a flagship program of the Presidential Broadcast Staff – Radio Television Malacañang (RTVM).
