The International Trade Council, of which Zennie62Media Inc. is a member, hosted a virtual conference on Ukraine and social and digital media on Thursday of this week. Here’s the letter to me, Zennie Abraham, Zennie62Media CEO, that presented the event:
Dear Mr. Abraham
The ITC, for the Ministry of Digital Transformation of the Government of Ukraine, and the Ministry of Social Policy of Ukraine, wishes to invite you to attend a Ministerial update on the war in Ukraine.
This will be a virtual / online event and is coordinated by the International Trade Council on behalf of the Government of Ukraine. This session will look at how digital transformation has helped Ukraine defend against the Russian invasion of the country, how other countries have contributed, and what else may be needed. We will also provide the opportunity for “virtual speed-dating” with other legislative / chamber / industry leaders from across the globe after the event – allowing the opportunity for an informal virtual meet and greet between participants.
Speaking from the Government of Ukraine – live – will be:
Hon. Mr. Kostiantyn Koshelenko, Deputy Minister of Social Policy of Ukraine for Digital Development, Digital Transformation and Digitization
Hon. Ms. Valeriya Ionan, Deputy Minister for Eurointegration at Ministry of Digital Transformation of UkraineOther speakers include:
H.E. Kristjan Prikk, Ambassador of the Republic of Estonia to the United States.
Yoko Alender, Member of Parliament of the Republic of EstoniaDate: Thursday, 14th April 2022
Time: 10am EST | 3pm UK | 5pm Ukraine | 7:30pm India
Approximate Run-Time: 1 Hour
Type: Online / Virtual
The event was attended by a good 300 people of 800 who registered. Those who missed it were not treated to the wonderful online networking opportunities, or the chance to understand what people in Ukraine are dealing with on a regular basis: getting bombed by Russia.
Case in point, this vlog of mine that showed what happened just after an airraid siren went off and was so loud we heard it on camera:
Stay tuned.
