Vtrus Autonomous Drone At 2018 TechCrunch August Capital Party

Oakland News Now – Need a drone that can fly and gather data and then land on its own mini base station? Vtrus Autonomous Drone can do that and it’s makers were at The TechCrunch 2018 August Capital Party.

Johathan Lenoff, Vtrus Chief Technology Officer, explained that the drone was under development and in the prototype stage but could fly indoors in a plant, gather photos and information and then land in its base station.

The base station is a thing out of 2001: A Space Odyssey. It had doors that automatically open via small servo motors and the drone lands in it much like the Space: 1999 Eagle would land on its base station on the moon in that classic TV show.
