“Berkeley, CA: As PG&E informed the public of the power outages across the Bay Area, independent workers and businesses have been rushing to figure out where to work without power. In an effort to aid those in need, Workstation West Berkeley, a new coworking space located in West Berkeley, CA, announced on Wednesday, October 9th, they would offer a Free Day Power Pass, opening their doors to those in need of power and work space. For the duration of the power outage, Workstation West Berkeley will offer a Day Pass from the hours of 8 AM to 6 PM, giving workers access to their shared office space including Wi-Fi, ample outlets and USB connection, printing service, private calling rooms, and conference room space.

Workstation West Berkeley recognized a potential issue arising for businesses and independent contractors in the area without power and wanted to provide a reliable, welcoming, community space during this crisis to help neighboring areas and to hopefully create and foster community relationships.

Free Day Power Passes can be reserved through the Workstation West Berkeley website at workstationwestberkeley.com/hot-seat. For more information, visit workstationwestberkeley.com, email [email protected], or call (510) 647-9633.”
